San Antonio Man Arrested Following High Speed Chase in Jim Wells County

A San Antonio man is arrested after he takes officers on a high speed chase in Jim Wells County. Pictures of the arrest were sent to 3 News by a viewer. It happened Saturday morning around 8 am outside of Alice along Highway 281. This all started after a DPS trooper tried to pull over a pickup truck. Speeds hit 95 miles per hour. Police Respond to Shots Fired Call on City's Westside

Police rush to one Westside neighborhood after someone reported shots being fired off. The incident happened just before 2:30 this morning at a home near the intersection of Cortez and Baldwin Boulevard. Police later told us that one man was arrested surrounding this incident but only for public intoxication. Police say the male suspect put up a struggle with officers. (CNN) -- Belching smoke and fire, SpaceX's unmanned Dragon spacecraft successfully blasted off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, Friday afternoon on a resupply mission to the International Space Station."I'm feeling pretty excited. At least 80 immigrants suspected of entering the United States illegally were arrested in a makeshift encampment in suburban South Texas.They were found in an undeveloped patch of scrub near an abandoned tennis club in McAllen. They were camped under tents and huts camouflaged with mesquite branches and cacti.
