Pitbull attacks, like the one seen earlier today involving a poodle, two people and a second pitbull is certainly not unique (the link for that story is: http://www.kiiitv.com/Global/story.asp?S=14009814). And that incident begs the question - should there be some sort of law banning the private ownership of pit bulls? It is sparking a huge debate and it may be addressed soon by the Texas legislature.
A proposal called Justin's Law would make it a felony to own pit bull terriers. The proposed legislation was drafted by attorney's for an East Texas woman whose young son was mauled to death by two pit bulls. Our Kim Passoth brings us her story and both sides of the controversy in this special report.
