A sedan received significant damages Friday morning when it was rear ended by a truck after merging onto westbound Highway 44.

It happened at around 9 a.m. As the driver of the sedan got onto Highway 44, a truck coming from behind never slowed down and rear ended the vehicle, crumpling its back end.

Thankfully, there were no serious injuries as a result of the accident. The driver of the truck did receive a citation, as was the female driver of the sedan for driving without a license.
