Corpus Christi (kiii sports)- The Carroll Tigers officially clinched the District 28-5A baseball title on Tuesday night with an 11-0 win over San Antonio Southwest. That left King and South San to fight for the #2 seed in the district. The Mustangs responded with a 3-0 win. Matt Morin went the distance for the Mustangs with 7 innings of 2-hit pitching.

Moody, which had already wrapped up the District 31-4A title, got a 13-strikeout, 1-hit pitching performance from Michael Cantu as the Trojans blanked Flour Bluff 13-0 in 5 innings.

Calallen wrapped up a share of the District 30-4A title and the #1 seed as the Wildcats beat co-leader Victoria East 3-0 at Calallen. Dylan Duarte tossed the shutout for Calallen.
