Bishop Michael Mulvey and hundreds of students and parents attended the dedication and blessing of a new building on the campus of St. Anthony's School in Robstown.

It's a multi-purpose building that houses a kitchen, dining facility, music room and something called a parent involvement room.

The project wouldn't have been possible if not for a generous grant from the John G. and Marie Stella Kenedy Memorial Foundation, and the help of parishioners of St. Joseph. The school's next big project will be to add a playground for the youngest students.

Also presented at Monday's dedication was a thoughtful birthday gift for Bishop Mulvey, who will turn 63 this Thursday.
