A nightmare wake up call for one resident as a 19-year old woman loses control of her car and slams into a house. The crash happening early this morning on Archer near McArdle.

3 News reporter Anayeli Ruiz was live from the crash site.

Officers say the 19-year old woman swerved to avoid hitting a cat in the street, which caused her to plow through a fence and then the home. One woman was sleeping in a bedroom at the time of the crash. She only suffered from some bumps and bruises from the impact.

The 19-year old driver was taken to the hospital. She's expected to be okay. Police say alcohol was not a factor.
