Kids from our local Head Start schools were taught the importance of conservation and recycling to celebrate Earth Day on Tuesday.

It's celebrated every April 22, and kids were made aware of environmental problems from Corpus Christi Mayor Nelda Martinez and Toby Globy.

The three most important things the kids learned were reduce, reuse and recycle. The folks at Head Start hope the kids will tell their moms and dads why it is important to help Mother Earth.
