We see rollover accidents way too many times here at home. Some say speeding, texting and distracted drivers are to blame. So how do we put an end to it all?

We have reported 12 rollover accidents in just this month alone, some of them fatal.

It was just last week when a rollover accident on Morgan and Port claimed the life of a 62-year old woman.

Others have sent entire families to the hospital. In the beginning of this month, two children along with their parent were sent to the hospital for injuries after a rollover crash on Crosstown. According to police, the 29-year old driver of a sport utility vehicle took the curve too fast.

"We want everyone to get to where they're going safely," said Senior Officer Kirk Stowers of the Corpus Christi Police Department.

Stowers said it is probably a good idea to make sure that your vehicles are well maintained in the event they have to respond quickly to an emergency on the road.
