Combine sizzling temperatures and a dash of our famous Corpus Christi humidity, and you're in for an uncomfortable day. Wednesday was no exception.

While we hadn't yet hit the triple digits on the thermometer by 5 p.m. Wednesday, the "feels like" temperature was over the top. That means being outside, or especially in a car, can be especially dangerous for your kids.

Just this year, several deaths across the nation have been the result of leaving children inside of very hot cars.
