Aspiring filmmakers came together Thursday evening to take part in the kick-off of the 2nd annual 72-Hour Film Challenge.

The filmmakers and their actors have until Sunday to write, shoot and edit a short film. The movie must have two elements that each filmmaker drew on Thursday night, but it is not just the filmmakers that have a tough task ahead of them. The actors said the 72-hour time frame can prove quite challenging.

"You don't know who you are acting with first of all," actor Tellie Willingham, Jr., said. "You don't know who the director is."

All films have to be turned in this Sunday at a drop-off location at the Art Center of Corpus Christi.
