Island residents kicked off their first Saturday of spring break with their annual property owners meeting.
It was a record-breaking crowd, over 1,000 members were there at the Seashore Academy to discuss decisions the board of directors has made.
Residents say that a charter asked for a donation and they were concerned about the outcome. The issue was resolved and the property owners even donated their own money to the organization.
Once they understood and resolved major issues, they also voted to elect a new member to the board but could not agree on a candidate.
A special meeting will be held on April 1 to elect a new member.
