Wednesday will be a big day for a group of special education students at Moody High School as they attend their very own prom.
To help make their prom night as memorable as possible, a local business offered their services so the students can look their best for the big night.
The students all received a fresh cut from the staff at Chop Shop, who volunteered their time to give the boys the free haircuts. The students are all looking forward to attending the school's 15th annual Special Hearts Prom.
"Right now they are on Cloud Nine. These guys are so excited they got their haircuts. They know what tomorrow is now," Moody Asst. Principal Cynthia Reyna said. "It gives them the opportunity to be just like any other student who goes to a prom. Freshmen all the way to seniors who participate."
The students will be escorted by members of the senior class.
On Wednesday, the girls will get their hair and makeup done by students from the Aveda Institute before the big dance.
