It is a remarkable new piece of technology that is offering those with visual impairments a new way to look at life -- electronic glasses.

The company E-Sight was at the Lighthouse for the Blind on Agnes showing off the device, which offers those with visual impairments a chance to have 20-20 vision.

"The way it works is that there is a camera that's built in right above her nose," Rick Pam said. "In the glasses are two high definition lenses, so the camera sends a real time image to these lenses that are right up close to her eyes."

The Lighthouse for the Blind said they are looking into purchasing a couple pairs of the devices in hopes of helping their clientele.
