"Luke's Diner", from the popular television show "Gilmore Girls", is set to be moved from its home in the fictional town of Stars Hollow, Conn. to over 200 locations throughout the United States Wednesday, Oct. 5.
That includes four coffee shops in Austin, Texas.
At the one-day only event, patrons will feel just like Rory and Lorelai as they're treated to free cups of coffee courtesy of Netflix.
According to the Austin Eater, Oct. 5 is the 16th anniversary of Gilmore Girls and Netflix is set to air the premiere episode of the revamped series "Gilmore Girls: A year in the Life" Nov. 25.
The faux Luke's Diner will be open from 7 a.m. to noon. The Austin Eater reports diner workers are expected to be dressed in Luke's Diner aprons and t-shirts,
There's also the possibility baristas will wear blue baseball caps and flannel. However, that's solely up to them.
While fans are enjoying free coffee, they should also be on the lookout for Texan and former Gilmore Girls cast member Jared Padalecki.
Chances are slim, but the 34-year-old, who played Dean Foster on the show for seven years, has been known to make random appearances around the capital city when people least expect it.
