A woman initially found guilty, and the verdict was later overturned, is now heading to prison Friday on aggravated robbery charges.
26-year-old Courtney Hayden was sentenced to 12 years in prison, back in 2015 Hayden was initially charged in the fatal shooting of Anthony Macias.
The two individuals had an allegedly took part in an aggravated robbery when the two then got into an argument, and that is when the fatal shot took place.
Hayden's defense had argued self-defense in the case and was found guilty, but in 2017 the murder case was dismissed after it was determined that the previous Defense Attorney's office had suppressed evidence in the case.
Hayden is currently pregnant and will begin serving her sentence immediately.
