If you haven't shipped off those Christmas presents meant for friends and family around the country, you might want to do that soon.

Dec. 14 was the last recommended send-by date for those sending packages by ground through the United States Postal Service; but for those using their First-Class Mail Service, you have until Tuesday, Dec. 19, to send it if you want it to reach its destination by Christmas Day.

Of course, there are other services offered by USPS that you can utilize. Below are the send-by dates recommended by USPS for their different mail services:

First-Class Mail Service - Tuesday, Dec. 19
Priority Mail Service - Wednesday, Dec. 20
Priority Mail Express Service - Friday, Dec. 22
