It's a story that has made national headlines - a teen playing with friends on Mexican soil near the US-Mexico Border in El Paso was shot and killed by a US Border Patrol Agent. The teen was unarmed. The incident took place back in June of 2010.

US officials have claim the agent was defending himself and that the boys were throwing rocks at the Border Patrol agent at the time.

The boy's family has turned to a local attorney here in Corpus Christi to represent them as their case has made it's way to the US Supreme Court.

The question in front of the court - was the shooting in violation of our US Constitutions Fourth Amendment? Does the Amendment protect the 15-year-old victim when the bullet left the gun on US soil striking the teen who is feet away on the other side of the border.

Our Bill Churchwell has more.
