The location was simply too good to pass up to use as a staging area.

Bee County (KIII News) — Since October there has been a growing number of FEMA trailers showing up in Beeville, Texas. In fact, there are now more than 2,500 government homes in place there.

The area is serving as one of three disaster staging area' in the country for the mobile homes. The Beeville government now has an 18-month contract to place all of the FEMA trailers there.
