The livestock show circuit has made its way to San Patricio County this week.

The agricultural and homemakers shows began Wednesday at the San Patricio-Aransas County Livestock Show, which is being held at the show barn in Sinton. Steers, lambs, goats, and other animals were checked in.

The judging of poultry and rabbits also took place Wednesday.

"Everyday we feed them in the morning. Feed them at night. Sometime in the afternoon. We also clean their pens every day. We weigh them," Jaxon Floyd said.

"I enjoy it because it's just a learning experience and you get to make new friends every day. And you get to learn something every day. And you get to learn something new," Kaitlynn Lawrence said.

Also happening Wednesday at the show barn was the Extra-Special Livestock Show, where children with special needs from different schools in the area could show off some goats and lambs.
