One Coastal Bend librarian is set to be featured on the Texas Country Reporter.

"I get excited when I see kids come to the library, I get excited about books and reading, and if I can help get them in the library that makes me really happy," librarian Kippy Edge said.

Known to children at San Patricio County Children's Library as "Mr. Kippy", Edge has spent the last 27 years traveling to public libraries in the county every week.

Edge tells stories and shares information with over 1,000 kids on a variety of subjects, and that is why the Texas Country Reporter decided to do a story about him.

"This is a really neat job. You get to be creative. You get to perform. You get to do music and theatre and all of that. I've been really lucky," Edge said.

Mr. Kippy's story will air on the Texas Country Reporter on Kiii-TV at 5:30 a.m. Sunday.
