CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII-NEWS)- CCPD Narcotics Investigators busted a drug operation after serving a search warrant that lead to five arrests.

The warrant was served Friday afternoon at an apartment in the 3800 block of Caravelle Parkway. The warrant was the culmination of a long term undercover investigation of the occupants and their involvement in distributing of the drugs found.

Investigators seized over 18 grams on synthetic marijuana, five ounces of methamphetamine, half an ounce of crack cocaine, nearly three grams of powdered cocaine, and two ounces of marijuana. They also found $7,257 in cash believed to be from drug deals.

In addition to the drugs and cash, Officers seized five assault rifles, two shotguns, nine handguns, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. They also recovered two sets of body armor.

CCPD arrested 26-year-old Longino Garcia Castillo, 26-year-old Mary Beth Zamora, 19-year-old Isaiah Martinez, 17-year-old Summer Escamilla, and 25-year-old Serena Escamilla. They all face felony charges of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. The charges are first degree felony's and punishable with five to ninety-nine years in prison. Zamora was additionally charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Unlawful Possession of Body Armor.

The large amount of drugs, cash and weapons found suggest that this was a large supplier within Corpus Christi. CCPD Narcotics Investigators will continue to pursue leads as the result of this operation and are confident that more arrests and seizures will follow.
