A week-long workshop on hurricane recovery wrapped up in Aransas County Friday with suggestions for solving low-income or workforce housing issues.
Area business owners attended many of the meetings this week trying to find solutions to rebuilding housing and the economy.
Officials said around 30 mobile housing units and more than 100 FEMA travel trailers have been distributed in the county with more to come. They said ideas discussed this week might actually be implemented beginning the month of January.
Kiii News Reporter Brian Burns was at the meeting and came back with the details.
