The search is on for a gunman involved in a shooting at a Corpus Christi northside apartment complex Sunday afternoon.
Police said the shooting stemmed from a robbery that took place earlier in the day on Comanche Street. The shooting happened at Northside Manor off Alameda.
According to investigators, the people who were robbed confronted the person who took their Xbox. The suspected robber pulled out a gun and fired at the men. One of them was hit in the leg.
"You have an aggravated offense in this case," said Lt. Isaac Valencia of the Corpus Christi Police Department. "Plus a weapon was involved, specifically a handgun."
The shooting victim is expected to be okay.
Police said they do know who the shooter is, and once they find him, he will be hauled off to jail.
