People from all across Texas gathered in Robstown Tuesday, all looking for a good job at the 2013 Oil and Gas Robstown Job Fair at Richard Borchard Fairgrounds.
The event, hosted for the second year in a row by usoilworker.com, lasted until 2 p.m. Job seekers lined up for the latest jobs being offered by close to 17 oilfield companies and service industries.
"It's a little different. Companies hiring on different levels, some that are literally taking people out of school," employer Mark Nightingale said. "Out of truck driving school, especially."
One oil and gas representative said that another job fair Expo is scheduled to take place sometime in December.
