Tuesday night's elections brought some big changes to the Coastal Bend, including a new mayor of Corpus Christi.

3News spoke with Mayor-elect Dan McQueen Wednesday about his big win.

McQueen beat out incumbent Mayor Nelda Martinez by 6,000 votes last night. Martinez served two terms as mayor. Prior to that she was on the City Council for six years.

As for McQueen, he said he has a lot on his to-do list.

"The first thing I'm going to work on is meetings with council to figure out our election, just get to know each other a little bit," McQueen said, "the economy, so we can figure out how we're going to fund infrastructure problems."

McQueen will be joined by four new members of City Council.
