A pretrial hearing was held in San Patricio County Monday morning for a woman accused of killing three people and seriously injuring two others in a car wreck last year.
Investigators say that Hannah Roberts was drunk and speeding when she struck a car back in August of 2012 on I-37. The crash killed a passenger who was with Roberts that night, along with the female driver of the other car and her passenger.
It was back in May that Roberts said she would plead guilty to multiple counts of intoxication manslaughter and assault, and could have been eligible for parole after two and a half years. The judge ultimately rejected that plea deal.
An announcement hearing is scheduled close to the end of the month, while a jury trial is set for Sept. 9.
