The Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce and First Community Bank teamed up Wednesday to host a Salute to Military luncheon at the Omni Bayfront Hotel.

The keynote speaker at the event was James Olson, former Chief of Counterintelligence for the CIA. Every branch of the military was represented at the event, including members from the country's best NJROTC team, the squad from Flour Bluff.

The Chamber also recognized the Corpus Christi Army Depot for winning the Robert T. Mason Award for depot maintenance excellence. It's an honor handed out by the Department of Defense.
