Several crashes were reported along I-37 between the Crosstown Expressway and Nueces Bay Boulevard Tuesday, slowing down morning rush hour traffic.
Luckily all the accidents were considered minor, and there were no serious injuries. According to police, slick roads and speeds were to blame.
"People should be used to it because of the last couple of days," said Senior Officer Carl Knapick said. "We have had rain, but any time the roads get slick, you need to watch your speed. Especially when the roads are busy with rush hour traffic."
Police advise that, when roads appear slick, slow down and use caution.
