A seat belt prevented injuries during a rollover accident on Interstate 37 Thursday morning.

Police said the driver of a sport utility vehicle was going north on I-37 near Southern Minerals at around 7:30 a.m. when the vehicle's back tire blew out. The driver then lost control, and flipped.

The driver was not hurt, and no tickets were issued; but that portion of the interstate was closed for a short time during cleanup.
