The water problems at the Cimmaron Senior Apartments are nearly fixed, and that's good news for residents there. They've been without water for a few days.
The elderly residents were having to go outside to use a water hose to fill up buckets and take them back inside the house over the weekend. The problem stemmed from a rupture that occurred on Thursday. The City made repairs to the line, but in the process, air got into the system.
That air traveled to the pipes at the apartment complex, causing tiny ruptures across the system. However, the City says water should be fully restored to all residents by Monday night.
