The Flour Bluff Hornets are ready to pack up the gear and hit the road for their playoff opener this Friday.
The Hhornets get a rematch with the Southside Cardinals, a team they hammered at Hornet Stadium last year 42-6. But this Cardinals team is definitely more potent than that one, winning their first ever district title this season.
Flour Bluff Head Coach Chris Steinbruck knows his team is playing their best football of the year after beating Ray 63-27 in the interzone game, but he also knows that they also have their hands full with the Cardinals.
That game will be Friday at 7:30 PM at Southside High School in San Antonio.
