Miller basketball will have to forfeit two games for over-scheduling their allotted number of games from the UIL, according to Corpus Christi Independent School District Athletic Director Brenda Marshall.

The Bucs will have to forfeit their final Zone game against Tuloso-Midway and more importantly, a potential 30-5A crossover game. This means Miller would not make the playoffs unless they win the North Zone, and cannot win the district.

The Bucs were only allowed 21 games while having played in three tournaments, and scheduled 23 total.

For now, this is the minimum punishment that Miller will face and what they self-reported to the 30-5A District Executive Committee. The DEC is currently reviewing the punishment suggestion, but could vote to inflict stiffer penalties.
