The Refugio Bobcats have their biggest on field test of the season Wednesday against the Mart Panthers, and yet it pails in comparison to the tests they've already overcome this season.

The Bobcats have overcome both hurricane Harvey devastating the town and losing receiver and defensive back Casey Henderson to a broken neck that left him paralyzed. Henderson has just recently started walking again after a long rehab process that's ongoing.

Despite those obstacles, the Bobcats are back in their third straight state championship game as they look for their second consecutive title. Mart and Refugio have arguably been Class 2A's top teams since the start of the year, with both teams' only loss coming to bigger schools.

Refugio and Mart will face off in the 2A-I Championship Wednesday night at 7 PM at Cowboys' AT&T Stadium. 3News will face a crew in Arlington and will have complete coverage.
