Tony Romo is set to once again don a Dallas jersey, but it won't be for the Cowboys. Instead Romo will be suiting up for the Mavericks for tonight's home finale.
Mavs owner Mark Cuban invited Romo to join the team for tonight's game against the Nuggets. Romo last played basketball in high school up in Wisconsin and even though he's not expected to play, he said it was an honor just to be at today's shootaround and be on the bench for tonight's game.
The Mavericks are already eliminated from playoff contention and their point guard Seth Curry is done for the rest of the year, opening up the roster spot for them to be able to bring Romo on.
