On April 7, of this year shortly after 2:30 in the afternoon, police were dispatched to the Kleberg Bank, Located at 2611 Morgan, references a bank robbery. Police were able to attain these picture of the suspect from the video surveillance at the bank, if anyone recognizes this individual we encourage you to call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS.
In this incident the suspect walked into the bank with his right hand on his waist line as if hiding a weapon. He then began to yell at the employees as he walked up to the counter. He hen handed the tellers a black cloth bag and demanded the cash. After receiving the cash, the suspect fled north across Morgan and into the medical plaza in front of Memorial Hospital. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a brown shirt or light jacket, dark baggie pants, sunglasses and a beanie. He was in his early 40's around 6 feet tall and weighed 200-230lbs.
