This week we are featuring two separate burglaries that occurred at the St. Thomas Catholic Church, located at 5311 County Road 73A at Northwest Boulevard.
The first occurred on August 3rd. In this incident, intruders entered three separate building at the church and vandalized all of them by spreading various cooking ingredients all over the buildings. The subjects also wrote and drew derogatory comments throughout the buildings and broke most of the windows to these building by throwing bottles and soda cans through them.
On August 18th, these scoundrels decided they would come back and vandalize the church again. In this incident, they again entered the buildings next to the church and vandalized them in the same manner as the first time.
Investigators believe that both burglaries were committed by the same individuals as the marking and drawings were the same on both incidents.
