On December the 18th of 2008 at around 9 p.m. police where summoned to 14429 Pentridge for a robbery of an elderly individual.

Upon arriving police located Wanda James bleeding and visibly upset, Mrs. James told officers she had just returned home from an evening of Christmas shopping, when she was approached by a male, as she exited her vehicle, as he approached her he demanded her purse, when she refused to give it to him the subject began to assault her.

During the incident Mrs. James sustained several injuries; a deep gash on her chin, the left side of her face was beaten, cut and swollen causing her left eye to be shut, and her left arm had several abrasions.

The individual was described as a Hispanic around 5 foot 6 inch tall and 140 lbs., with a mustache and wearing a dark hoodie at the time of the assault.
