Corpus Christi Robbery Detectives are asking for your help in locating and identifying the two individuals responsible for the early morning Aggravated Assault which occurred on March 21 shortly after 5 a.m. at the corner of Ayers and Pearse.

In this incident two Hispanic males approached the victim as he was walking to the corner store for his morning coffee.

Upon doing so both subjects pulled out handguns from under their shirts and demanded the victim’s money, the victim then gave them twenty dollars, at this point one of the subjects began to go thru the victims clothing as if looking for other items to steal, he then located and took the victims knife.

The victim then attempted to run away, at which time on of the subjects shot at him striking him in the hand, leaving the victim with a superficial wound to the hand.

Both subject then fled West on Pearse toward Port.

The individuals are described as two Hispanic males in their mid twenties both weighing around 160 to 170 lbs., with faded haircuts at the time of the assault both subjects where wearing dark colored t-shirts’ and dark colored pants.
