This week Corpus Christi Crime Stoppers and Investigators with the Homicide Investigation Bureau are asking for your help in solving the Murder of Alejandro (Alex) Barrera.

On May the 18 at around 9 a.m. police responded to the 7100 block Greenwood to find Alejandro’s body on the side of the road.

Detectives know that Alex was involved in an Aggravated Assault, that occurred at the 2300 block of Prescott around 10:30 the night before he was found dead.

Investigators are now attempting to piece together what exactly happened to Alex to the time he left Prescott Street and the time he was found shot to death on Greenwood.
