Detectives with the Robbery unit need your help in locating the individual responsible, for attacking and attempting to rob Scott Nixon.

On Monday July the 13th shortly before 10 p.m. an unidentified individual approached Scott underneath the freeway at the Laguna Shores east to west turn around, as he was sitting on the tailgate of his truck

When the individual approached Scott he struck him over the head with a chrome breaker bar, at which time Scott began to struggle with the assailant. The assailant then attempted to get into Scott's truck but again Scott was able to ward him off.

The individual is described as a white male, 40 to 50 years, around 6 feet tall and 190 lbs., he had a weathered pocked face from acne. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a dark colored shirt and dark jeans.
