The City of Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department’s Cultural Services Division, once again invite you to come to Cole Park Amphitheater to enjoy the Bay Jammin’ Cinema Series. This year’s Holiday lineup will run from October 30–December 18, 2009. Movies will be shown every Friday evening beginning at 7pm. All the films are closed captioned. These presentations are offered FREE for everyone to enjoy, so bring your lawn chairs, blankets and enjoy this wonderful family entertainment.

OCTOBER 30 Animated Comedy – 2006 Three kids, DJ, Chowder, and Jenny discover that the house across the street from DJ’s is alive. It eats anything that goes on its property. They try to convince the babysitter, the police, and some weirdo named Skull. They try to unravel the mystery of the house and they have to go inside.
Comedy Chiller – 1986 Larry Abott, speaker in the radio horror shows of Manhattan Mystery Theater wants to marry. For the marriage he takes his fiancée home to the castle where he grew up among his eccentric relatives. His uncle decides that he needs to be cured from a neurotic speech defect and exaggerated bursts of fear: he gives him a shock therapy with palace ghosts.
NOVEMBER 27 Drama – 2007 Based on the life of antislavery pioneer William Wilberforce. Directed by Michael Apted.
DECEMBER 11 Comedy – 1996 Harried mattress salesman Howard Langston is late for his son Jamie’s karate class. To placate his unhappy son he asks him if there is anything he wants for Christmas. He wants Turbo Man. Howard naturally forgets to get it, and being Christmas Eve no stores have it in stack. So Howard embarks on a comical quest to find one.
DECEMBER 18 Drama – 1947 Doris Walker, a no-nonsense Macy’s executive, desperately searches for a new store Santa. She hires Kris Kringle who insists that he's the real Santa Claus. But, he has many skeptics like Doris and her six year old daughter, Susan. So Kris goes to court to try and prove it. Is he the real Santa Claus?
