Be Safe from Diabetes: Rise in Kids Consuming Energy Drinks

New research shows that kids are taking in less caffeine from sodas, which is a good thing. However, it also shows that they are instead drinking more coffee and energy drinks.

Doctors say stimulant containing energy drinks should have no place in the diets of children and teens. They say that if kids consume energy drinks, it could put them at risk of obesity, Type 2 diabetes and dental problems.
