It celebrates the fun and fellowship of birding and the great outdoors.

Big Day 2009 is an event put on by the Coastal Bend Audubon Society and it's coming up in February.

To tell us more, we're joined by David Newstead.

If you want to participate in Big Day 2009 A Birding Event, it's happening all day Saturday February 7th.

Teams will meet at the Portabella's Restaurant on S.P.I.D.
