This week's South Texas Gardener features advice on planting and taking care of banana plants.  Dan Caballero of Fox Tree and Landscaping tells viewers the easy effort involved with taking care of the plant but be prepared for quite a few bunches.  According to Caballero, gardeners can expect the first bunch of bananas in a couple of years.  Some care will be needed as banana plants tend to attract bugs.
