The foster mother of 4-year old Andrew Burd got life in prison for her role in his poisoning death. This case did not end there. Larry Overton, Andrew's foster father, faced the same fate as his wife.
A plea deal announced Tuesday, revealed that Larry will not face any time behind bars for his role in the death of Andrew Burd.
Overton was facing capital murder, but the charges were instead reduced to criminally negligent homicide.
