A vicious dog attack sends a six year old boy to the hospital. Officials say It happened outside his family's home in the small town of Tivoli, which is north of Rockport.  The boy was mauled by not one, but 3 pit bulls.  Officials say the boy was in critical condition Thursday night.  His condition has improved. Family members told authorities the boy went outside to play with the dogs, when they turned on him.

Animal Control Officer Mark Montalvo says when he arrived on the scene, one of the dogs was so worked up and aggressive he had to tranquilize it three times before it went down.  All three dogs have since been euthanized. They are being taken to a vet in Beeville from there they will be shipped to the Texas Department of Health to be tested for rabies.
