Since Jace's baseball-sized tumor was found by doctors earlier this year, his parents say it has been an aggressive battle., a battle to save the 2 year old's life. But the hospital stays and rounds of chemotherapy have been adding up and are well over 100-thousand dollars.

The congregation of First Presbyterian Church have come together to help the family with those medical bills. They are doing that through a barbeque fundraiser that raised over $1,000 this afternoon.

"On top of worrying about their child and brain cancer, they also have all these medical bills, and out of everything else they've missed work," says Walter Scogin who organized the fundraiser.

"The amount of support and prayers, the amount of people who have come into our lives, is just really really wonderful!" says, Jace's day Josh Sandoval.

If you would like to help out this local family with their medical bills and you missed out on the barbeque, you can still help by stopping by any Bank of America branch and ask to donate to the Jace Michael Sandoval medical fund.

Little Jace has now made it through his third round of chemotherapy and his parents say they are taking his treatment one day at a time.-Krystal Coates 3 News.
