At Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital Wednesday night, a 21 year old man continues to fight for his life after a wreck this past weekend that police say was a direct result of road rage. The young man's parents are keeping up a vigil at the hospital and they're asking for everyone's prayers in the hopes that that young man will pull through.

21 year old Kelby Eddleman of Portland, was thrown from the SUV he was riding in Sunday morning after a war of words with the driver of another vehicle in the downtown area. That vehicle chased down the 3 people in the SUV as they were approaching the Harbor Bridge, trying to run them off the road. The SUV went out of control and rolled at least twice. Eddleman suffered severe head trauma, and he remains in ICU as of Wednesday.

His parents say they are continuing to pray for his recovery, "we just hope anybody that sees this or hears this, whatever their faith that they pray for his recovery," said Sonja Eddleman.

His father, Kyde Eddleman, is grateful to the Portland community for the outpouring of support, "we're overwhelmed by the love that this community as a whole has shown us and we're so thankful we just continue to ask that you continue to pray for Kelby and pray for his recovery," said Eddleman.

Police say a 2 door white car was seen fleeing the area and they're continue to search for it and it's driver...But Sonja and Kyde say they just want to see their son pull through this tragedy.

"We're not really too interested in that either because that's not gonna change the condition of our son so I think the police are working on that but we don't really know," said Sonja.

"All of our time and effort it needs to go into Kelby and getting him well," said the Kelby's Father.

As for the 2 other two people in that SUV, they were not seriously injured. They suffered only minor cuts and bruises.
