Border Patrol Agents seize over $3.1 million of narcotics

While agents conducted a vehicle stop on a white Ford truck, they discovered 21 bundles of marijuana and 27 bundles of cocaine inside the vehicle and tool boxes.

Hebbronville (KIII news) — Border Patrol Agents from the Hebbronville Station seized $3,138,080 of narcotics Friday, April 6 on a ranch after responding to multiple vehicle stops.

On Friday morning agents seized 754 pounds of marijuana after they responded to suspicious activity on the ranch.

When agents conducted a vehicle stop on a white Dodge truck, they discovered 34 bundles of marijuana inside the vehicle and tool boxes.

The marijuana had an estimated value of $603,200. The driver, a Mexican National, was arrested and turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration along with the marijuana. The vehicle was seized by Border Patrol.

Later in the afternoon agents seized 492.6 pounds of marijuana and 66 pounds of cocaine after they responded to another suspicious activity.

While agents conducted a vehicle stop on a white Ford truck, they discovered 21 bundles of marijuana and 27 bundles of cocaine inside the vehicle and tool boxes.

The driver, a United States Citizen, attempted to leave and was immediately arrested. The marijuana had an estimated value of $394,080, and the cocaine had an estimated amount of $2,140,800. The driver, narcotics, and a weapon were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration. The vehicle was seized by Border Patrol.
