Donation To Help Homebound Children

Some children with illnesses that cause them to be home bound students will now be given a chance to attend classes without leaving the comfort of their home or hospital bed. These V-GO robots are video enabled machines that allow the student to control what it does in a classroom,  all while the student watches from a monitor somewhere else. Two of these devices have already been purchased and  money from one special little girl was donated to buy a third. 7-year-old Brooke Hester, who is battling a disease called  neuroblastoma, her foundation Brooke's Blossoming hope for childhood cancer foundation donated 6-thousand dollars toward a third V-Go Robot. The robots will be used this upcoming school year the education service center is looking to raise additional funds. If you'd like to help out, you can call 361-561-8456.
